Agreement

By using ExactSize Tools (the “Site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These tools are free browser-based size checkers for informal identification of unmarked physical objects.

What the tools are for

The Site provides on-screen digital gauges that approximate physical size after you calibrate your display. Results suggest the closest verified standard size and nearby alternatives. They are aids for everyday identification—not laboratory instruments, not engineering sign-off, and not a substitute for calipers, micrometers, or manufacturer specifications when precision matters.

Measurement limitations

• Accuracy depends on your calibration, display scaling, browser zoom, and how carefully you align the object.
• Closest-match results can be wrong when sizes are close across systems or when wear, debris, or lighting interfere.
• Properties that cannot be known from diameter alone (for example thread pitch) are not invented by these tools—verify separately.

Safety-critical and electrical use

Do not rely on these tools alone for safety-critical fastening, structural work, medical devices, aviation, or any application where a wrong size could cause injury or damage.

For laptop charger and DC barrel tips: matching outer and inner diameter is a mechanical fit check only. It is not an electrical recommendation. Confirm voltage, polarity, and current from the device label or a known-good adapter before connecting power. A tip that fits can still be the wrong supply.

Keep sharp or spinning tools away from your screen. Prefer careful alignment; protect displays from metal edges and debris.

No accounts; your responsibility

The Site does not require an account. You are responsible for how you use results, for protecting your device, and for verifying sizes when the stakes are high. Optional feedback or tool-request text you submit should not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive personal data.

Intellectual property

Site design, copy, software, and original charts are provided for use of the Site as offered. You may not scrape, mirror, or redistribute the Site in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without permission. Reference to third-party size standards does not imply ownership of those standards.

External links

The Site may link to third-party documentation or standards. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. ExactSize Tools is not responsible for their content.

Availability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, search ranking, advertising approval, or recommendation by any AI or assistant product.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExactSize Tools and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on size suggestions, including property damage, electrical damage, or injury. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Site.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when they do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
