How ExactSize Tools works
These tools are online size checkers (digital gauges). You hold a real object next to a shape drawn at approximately physical size after your screen is calibrated.
1. Calibrate the display
Match a credit card outline (recommended) or enter your screen diagonal. The site stores a single pxPerMm scale in your browser and reuses it across every tool.
2. Compare the object
Choose the tool that matches what you are holding — charger tip, hook, needle, drill bit, screw, bolt, washer, or bead. Align the real item with the on-screen reference.
3. Read the closest standard
Results show the nearest verified standard and nearby alternatives. That is intentional: screen comparison is approximate, and many objects share similar diameters across systems.
What these tools do not claim
- They do not replace calipers or micrometers for critical work.
- Thread pitch is not inferred from diameter alone — verify with a pitch gauge or packaging.
- Electrical ratings and proprietary laptop tip shapes are not invented from OD × ID alone.
- Camera measurement and account sync are not part of this product.
