How these tools work together
- Drill bit sizes help you choose a hole; screw and bolt tools help you identify the fastener that goes in it.
- Washer inner diameter is usually larger than the bolt nominal size — measure both ID and OD.
- Diameter and length are separate from thread pitch. Pitch is never claimed from diameter alone.
Avoid pressing sharp metal against the display. Hold hardware just above the reference or use a thin protective layer when needed.
